One Punch Man Season 3 Release Date

While there have been multiple special OVA episodes released this year, we still don’t know when and if one of the most popular anime will be back. The first season aired in 2015, the second in 2019. Hopefully, we won’t need to wait another 4 years for season 3. There have been some rumors that the show might surprise everyone and start airing in the Winter of 2021 or the Spring of 2021. But as of now, either season charts feature One Punch Man’s third season. People are hoping that it might come out in winter of 2021, and complete the already amazing lineup of Attack on Titan, the final season, The Promised Neverland season 2, and Dr. Stone season 2.

One Punch Man Season 3 Casting News

Since we don’t have any real confirmation we can only speculate. Makoto Furukawa, Saitama’s voice actor, has been on a steady rise and is currently featured in much popular anime.

Some of those include Demon Slayer, Fire Force, Dr. Stone, and Ahiru No Sora. His schedule for 2021 seems a bit lighter than that for 2020, so he will probably return as Saitama in the third season. The same can be said for Kaito Ishikawa, the voice of Genos. Some people might also know him as Iida from My Hero Academia.

Season 3- Potential Plotline

Garou and the Monster Association

As we have said earlier Garou was probably the biggest positive surprise out of the second season. Hero Hunter’s rise in popularity has been meteoric. At the end of the second season, we see him being taken away or saved, however you want to look at it, by Pheonixman. Impressed by Garou’s power and endurance, Phoeixman plans to take Garou to his overlord, the probably big bad of the third season, Orochi.

Garou wants to rid the world of heroes because he only sees them as bullies who want to beat up people weaker than themselves, based on his childhood abused at the hands of his classmates. The Monster association headed by Orochi will surely offer him the means to achieve his goals. The question is will he comply. Garou is a complicated character, with strict ideal and people wonder if that will mash well with the monster association.

Will we finally get to see Blast?

For this uninitiated, the Hero Association has a ranking system. Based on that system the best, most powerful hero in the One Punch Man universe is a hero named Blast. We are yet to see this person in action. There are a lot of theories floating around online as to who he might be, but we won’t know for sure until he finally makes an appearance.
