Tony Lee Dow was born on 13th April 1945 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. In his childhood, Dow was a trained swimmer and became the champion in a Junior Olympic Diving contest. After his work in “Leave it to Beaver”, Dow got enough recognition to appear in multiple other TV shows. “The Greatest Show on Earth”, “Dr. Kildare”, “My Three Sons”, and “The Eleventh Hour” were some popular TV shows among many shows where he appeared as an actor. In “Mr. Novak”, Dow appeared in five episodes and acted in three different roles. In 1965, he got another big role in the first Teen Soap Opera, “Never Too Young” on ABC.

However, after this role, he served the National Guard for three years and again came back to acting with multiple guest roles in the 70s. He appeared as a guest actor in the comedy series “Love, American Style”, the Police bureaucratic series “Adam-12”, the medical series “Emergency”, and the crime drama series “The Mod Squad”. During this time, he also acted in the film “Death Scream” which was made for television. Some of his notable appearances in the 80s were “Murder, She Wrote”,“Square Pegs”,“High School U.S.A.”, “The New Mike Hammer.”, “Knight Rider”, and “Quincy M.E.”.
