Wit Studio has already confirmed the release of the second season on 7th July of 2021. According to a tweet of the writer, Makoto Yukimura, the production of the second season is in process. The director of the Vinland Saga anime series, ShuheiYabuta has also made a comment on the forthcoming sequel. In his comment, he indicated the significance of the next story arc in the whole series and assured that there would be sufficient episodes to depict the emotion of the characters appropriately. Therefore, these comments surely indicate the release of the Vinland Sage Season 2.
Updates on Vinland Saga Manga:
As of March 2022, twenty-five volumes of the Vinland Saga manga series have been published. However, the manga series is not completed yet and the next volume will come out very soon. The 26th volume of the Vinland Saga series will have eight chapters. The previous volume of the manga series came out last year on 21st July. Therefore, fans are expecting to have the Vinland Saga manga volume 26 in the second half of this year.
